Intense on the nose with plenty of ripe black cherries, dried prunes and dark chocolate all speaking of very ripe grapes. Bit of smoke and oak to add complexity. Dry on the palate, medium bodied with good tannic grip, evident acidity levels and plenty of black fruits on the palate with hints of jam as well Malvasia is a dry white wine which is produced from the autochthonous Istrian variety “malvazija istarska” with 13% alcohol. Our Malvasia (Malvasia Istriana) has a nice pale lemony, almost golden colour.
